My Passion

As a child, I experienced the benefits of manual therapy after a fall caused severe migraines. It sparked a dream to help others with chronic pain.

A car accident in my early 20s, ended my psychology studies and incapacitated me for almost two years, but reminded me of my childhood aspirations. Physiotherapy and massage played a critical role in my rehabilitation, and I regained my ability to function, along with my desire to help alleviate pain.

I studied and practiced massage for several years before training as an RMT. Studying with enthusiasm and excelling academically, my interest in the field rapidly grew to become my passion and purpose.

Science, evidence-based practice, and an awareness that pain is complex and emotionally charged drive me. I strive to treat pain and injury understanding that the body is an integrated unit, with a dash of intuition and comprehensive testing.

Who am I?

My world revolves around my family. We’re all about hiking and deep conversations into philosophy and life. With some family time geeking out to board and video games. Staying active has always been a priority in my life, I understand how frustrating it can be to lose the ability to do the things you enjoy. I’ve been practicing various martial arts, and swordsmanship since I was a child, and they have taught me the importance of discipline and focus in achieving our goals.

Let’s chat about what motivates you to prioritize your health and well-being. Your pain-free life matters to me, and I am excited to collaborate with you to achieve your health goals.

Looking forward to meeting you soon!

Why I Treat

From the time I was a child, I felt the power of healing touch. My aunt, a reflexologist, could ease pain and calm the body with her hands, often lulling me to sleep with gentle work on my feet. That early experience shaped not just my body, but my understanding of how powerful human connection and care can be. For over 35 years, I’ve dedicated myself to creating that same sense of comfort, relief, and trust for others. Helping people feel better isn’t just my job, it’s the deepest enrichment in my life.

How I Treat

Every treatment is built on careful listening, not just to what clients say, but what their tissues and body patterns communicate. I begin with gentle, guided questions that consider the whole person: their physical needs, lifestyle, emotional stressors, and long-term goals. I know these can change over time, and I adapt my approach accordingly. My work draws especially from Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, and Neuromuscular Therapy, always applied intuitively and refined by years of experience. I also draw on my own journey managing headaches and stress, which deepened my understanding of how therapeutic touch can calm the nervous system. My treatments are shaped not only by training, but by decades of evolving practice and empathy for each client’s unique story.

A Bit About Me

When I’m not working, you’ll often find me outdoors, walking my dog, kayaking, camping, or biking. My friends and family often tease me about my extreme sweet tooth.

Motivation

My motivation as an RMT is rooted in personal experience. It was brought to life when a loved one endured a serious accident. It was the dedicated work of an RMT and physiotherapist that brought back their quality of life leaving a lasting impression on my entire family. Inspired, I decided to pursue this rewarding career myself. Completing my studies at VCC only served to deepen my passion and solidify my purpose.

With compassion and a grounded, personalized approach, I provide counselling using evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), along with my clinical experience. My practice is holistic, strength-based, and rooted in trauma-informed care—always tailored to meet each person where they are.

I’ve long been curious about how people make sense of their inner worlds and relationships. Growing up, I witnessed close family members navigate hardship and often felt helpless. That experience deeply shaped my commitment to understanding emotional pain—and how to walk alongside others through it with presence and care. Helping people feel seen, understood, and empowered is at the heart of my work.

Outside of therapy, I’m a dog and human mum, a full time plant sitter, and a nature lover. I find joy in the small things and believe that meaningful connection—with ourselves and others—is central to healing and growth.
